The Devil Wants WIFI

And so I'm finally blogging, and currently at Starbucks just having finished my most awaited coffee jelly. Been trying to get my WIFI at home to work but it's still playing hard-to-get. I couldn't login to the Internet through the router. I'm still figuring out how to go around it.

In the middle of that busy-ness, here comes Ron texting me about how he found the Griffin & Sabine story so weird (I loaned him the first trilogy). Sabine being a stalker and all. That's the whole point of it -- that story still being a mystery as of this typing (because I don't have the next trilogy yet). And so he was asking if the two characters met. I said that it looks like it since Sabine sent a message to somebody using Griffin's postcard. But then the question is, what happened before that? How did they meet despite the "time space warp" distance between them? Also the exact question I left Ron. Hah, abangan ang susunod na kabanata. Then we competed on trying to answer it with silly stuff (that I will not mention here because it's not going to be as funny), and trying to outdo each other. I won this time. Hehehe :p

Yesterday, Noel invited me for another pig out at the weekend market in Salcedo. At nearly lunch time, we decided to go with Gian and gang (sorry, I'm so bad with names and matching them with faces) to yet another viewing of A Very Special Love starring John Lloyd Cruz and Sarah Geronimo (walang mangengeelam! mahal ko rin si John Lloyd). And I was excited too because Gian was so into John Lloyd that she would giggle when I deliver some of the lines in the movie. Haha! Gian, by the way, is a new acquaintance. She and Noel are from the same account; and I can also see us hanging out more soon ;) Anyway, Noel and I reached Glorietta an hour prior to screening to meet them for the movie. Then I got Steven's text asking if I happen to be at the mall. With a few more texts later, I broke the news to them that I will not be joining, to Gian's slight disappointment. (Slight nga ba? Hehe... sorry Gian! :p)

Steven hardly hollers for quality time (QT) so I decided to ditch the movie and accompany him. I told him that Gian wanted to say, "epal ka!" hahaha. He wanted to update his wardrobe - new shirts, new jeans and a new pair of shoes. So we went to MOA for a change which he was refusing at first because he said it's too far. I said, "HELLO! Ang malayo, Novaliches!" He said it's been a long time since he last went there and he was surprised that we got there really quick with a short train and bus ride. He had a strictly set budget in mind. Knowing him, that's not a surprise. But then I played devil pointing at pairs of shoes that I like. He ended up buying a pair of Gola, and a pair of Chucks. Haha, times like this, I just love my influence on this guy! As we were checking out some stuff, he asked if I'm going to shop too. I told him about this "SOP" or whatever you may call it-- that I don't shop when I'm with guys because I don't like making them wait. Besides, my cash is going extinct. May as well wait for payday. Anyway, QT was uber fun! He even treated me to iced coffee from Mrs. Fields (believe it or not).

After shopping for his stuff, and so tired and sleepy coming from GY shift, we went straight to his condo. I adopted his never-used router that came with his laptop-- which is why I'm setting it up at home. We went out again after about 30 minutes. I was heading home and he's going to meet his friends for dinner. Heading to the MRT station, I took the usual route - passing through three malls: Landmark, Glorietta and SM. Then I suddenly thought of the DBK party that we're going to have next Saturday. I thought why not stop and see what's in The Ramp store, then buy whatever I find on payday. Naturally, and as predictable as it is, I texted Steven: "So much for tipid mode. I just bought a dress from Glorietta. Heading home now before I sell my house haha!" Sigh... the "must shop on weekend" bug bit me again. Swipe swipe! Hehe.

My (ugh) WIFI at Starbucks is almost up so I gotta go. I think I'm gonna check screening schedules, see if I can still squeeze in a movie before I go home. See ya next post!
