No More Drama

It's one of em' days when I just start to feel good about recent events. Then I get inspired to write about it but feels like the words that I'm going to put together still won't do it justice. Hehe. Anyway, here goes.

Simply put, it's just been great. Work can sometimes make me slit my wrist, but the weekends absolutely rock! That's courtesy of my new set of friends lately. I'm no longer dreading Saturdays and Sundays when they come (and I resort to homebody mode). Just like last Saturday night, we danced the night away at Embassy. I finally met Mia. Paul was popping in and out of the crowd, so is AR. Steven kept on moving around. Jon and I were sticking together the entire time dancing, watching people (and we know what comes next), and snapping pictures.

The next day, I met the boys again for a movie night. Paul, Jon and I met at 5pm and grabbed an early dinner at Wendy's. Afterwards, we bought the tickets, and killed time at Timezone where Jon beat us at air hockey (I'll get ya next time he he he). The rest of the gang arrived so we went off to watch Step Brothers. Afterwards, we had dinner at Kitchen. Dyosa joined us too so she met my "kids". Gosh, this weekend's awesome!

But more than the gimmicks, what's been great is meeting new people almost every time we go out. I'm finally expanding my network. It's been fun making new friends and knowing how well we get along. Among my new friends, my favorite of course are Jon (stress reliever) and Paul. Jon had told Steven before, "I like Myls. She is fun. And ang sarap nyang gaguhin." Haha! We've been spending more than weekends, either having coffee or dinner, and sometimes both. If not that, then we would be chatting over YM or putting comments in our Multiply sites. Now, we're looking forward to vacation this November. Oh so GV!

Best of all, existing bonds have grown stronger. Steven and I have started walking again every morning. Come to think of it, we now see each other every single day. Now that just makes me throw up. Hahaha! JOKE! I appreciate him more now especially that he and his friends welcomed me to his group; and are keeping me part of their weekend plans. It's just so nice to be accepted that way.

During one of our recent YM's, Ron told me that he's glad to know that I'm happy with my new friends lately... Yup, no more drama. :)
