Good Friday

I got excited about the rainclouds around 1pm a while ago. Could it be another one? And yes, as I was on the way to work today, it rained. Another rain on a Good Friday and the second consecutive one too. They say when it rains on this day, it means "blessing". And I "received" some of it.

Babala: Huwag basahin mag-isa. Kung mag-isa ka lang talaga, ihanda ang telepono at phone number ng pwedeng makinig sa iyong halakhak. Maghanda na rin ng tissue dahil maiiyak ka.

Frostee Ice Candy

Materials/Ingredients:

Plastic (yung pang-ice candy)
Oishi Sundays Mango
Hinog na mangga
Pitsel
Embudo
Tequila
Shot glass
Iodized Salt
Lemon

Procedure:

Buksan ang Tequila at tikman.

Hiwain ang lemon.

Maglagay ng asin sa kamay, dilaan ito at uminom ng isa pang shot tapos sipsipin ang isang slice ng lemon. Buksan ang Oishi at ilagay sa pitsel. Uminom ng isa pang shot ng Tequila tapos sipsipin ang isang pang slice ng lemon, maglagay ng asin sa kamay at dilaan.

Lagyan ng tubig ang pitsel, haluin, lagyan ng asin ang shot glass at magbuhos ng Tequila dito, hintaying matunaw ang Oishi Sundays Mango sa pitsel. Inumin ang Tequila habang naghihintay. Lagyan ng lemon slice ang pitsel.

Mag-shot ng isa pang Tequila at balatan ang hinog na mangga. Sipsipin ito. Kainin ang kalahati kasi masarap. Durugin ang mangga at ilagay ang mga piraso sa pitsel. Lagyan ng asin ang isang lemon slice at kainin ito. Huminga ng malalim at uminom ng isa pang shot ng Tequila. Hwoosszzh.

Tumingin sa kawalan habang iniiship kung ano ang shushunod na gagawin, uminom ng sha pang shot ng Tequila habang nag-iiship. Lagyan ng ashin ang pitshel, haluin uli.

Tikman ang nasa pitshel at lagyan ng Tequila, kashe kulang sa tapang. Maglagay ng isa pang shot ng bashong maliit sa Quelita at ibigay sa kainuman, ay, wala pala... mag-shmile kashi sa yo uleht ang tagay, inumin ang zhot at tignan nang matagal ang pitshel at magtaka kung pra shaan yun.

Huminga nang malalim at kunen ang embudo at gawing torotot. Tumawa kashe funny yon. hahaha. Maglagay uli ng shotz ng Lequita sa bashow. Ibuhosh sa emdudo habang nasha bibig ito. Pigilin sha chanda romero ang alakh by making faces. Nzharaf! Zharaf when I'm talking to you, Zharaaaf ! ! Zhaar-aaaf ! ! Ahm about to break ! ! hik

Ilagay ang laman ng pishel sa plashtic, ibuhol ang dulo ng plashtic, ay, baliktad, yung kabilang duloh palah, hahaha, inumin ang lahat ng laman ng Quileta at umihyak, kashe wala kang kainuman, inumin ang natitira pang lahman ng putanginang pishtel sa pamamagitan ng embudohbubu. Magyoshi, kashi huuh, laksh tama... ilagay sa freezer ang ashin nang sumusuray at itambak sha lavavo ang lahat (pakshet)... shimutin ang alak at matulog sha mesha... sha shushunod, mag-bayad ng Prosti, eshte, bumili na lang phalah ng Frostee eye candy...

Brrrr and it all happened overnight-- seeing Sally again after 4 years!... riding Sally's black cherry Scion... my first Chicago meal: hotdog! (from the hatdugan)... the sureal skyline... watching planes "fall in line" to land at O'hare... long drive from Rockford... field trip mode at the United Center and Harpo Studios... breathtaking view of Lake Michigan from the 103rd floor of the Sears Tower... driving around with "Chasing Pavements" playing on Sally's car sterio... fried mac and cheese at the Cheesecake Factory... getting my cow from the Hershey's store... loving the tulips everywhere... meeting Rui!... dinner at Carnivale, party at Roscoe's... driving along the scenic Lake Shore drive... more photo opp at the Millennium Park... seeing myself in The Bean... running late for my flight... seeing the skyline from up there... *siiiiiighhh*

"Rrrrr!" Hindi yan dahil galit ako-- in the first place, bakit? At hindi rin yan shoutout to... yun. Dahil sa switch ko to GV mode, nag-trip ako sa imeem.com at gumawa ng matagal ko na dapat na ginawang mga playlists. Hence, meron akong playlist na "GV Lang!" na puro masasayang OPM. Sa kakaisip ko kung ano pa ang pwedeng idagdag, eh sumagi ang "Smokey Mountain" sa aking ulirat. Nostalgic kung nostalgic. At tumambling ako dito. Wag kalimutang namnamin ang lyrics at pansinin ang "rrrrr". Haha! GV!
