Yesterday's To-Do List

So here's how it went...

[ ] Spring cleaning! Clean up my desk. Reorganize. Take down those pictures and
leave just two. Shred shred shred. - Okay, this one's just partially complete so I'm not yet marking it. I've only reorganized ONE filer! Akh!

[ ] Three words: Training Needs Analysis - what does that mean again? Haha. Kidding. This is in process.

[x] Talk to boss. whew!

[ ] Talk to direct reports. - I'm left with one more so I'm not marking this yet.

[ ] Don't even think about going beyond 15 minutes for coffee break! - I've sucumed to the fact that this may never happen. Haha!

[ ] Plan the next initiative. Set goals and measures. Keep track and analyze. Nosebleed. - Nosebleed, yes. Planning, no.

[ ] Come up with something work-related if you finish this checklist before end of day (akh!) - HAH!

Wow, 1 out of 7. Not bad.... NOT! Sheeesh! It's tougher than I thought. So for today, I'll stick with the same To-Do list. I have to at least be able to mark all these as "In Process" and complete at the end of the week.

Note to self: One day at a time.

And holy cow! How can I forget the most important thing in the To Do list??!!

Today's To-Do List

Another Monday and probably the most hated day of the week by most people. But not me; at least for today. I'm physically relaxed. I had a long sleep for both Saturday and Sunday (Steve, start cheering... ok stop, OA na haha). Yet I'm mentally and emotionally, I don't know, tired? Too much thinking going on. Wondering what. Getting disappointed. Not getting disappointed. Resisting junk food. Missing the weekends. Waiting for something. Decisions. Worries. Akh! Ayaw ko na!!

I need a diversion... Why don't I try my hand at being a workaholic? Is that an art? Hehe... Wish ko lang. I know I'll never be one. But maybe work will really see me through this. So today, I came up with my to-do list. Just for today (and then I'll make another one tomorrow).

Mark when completed:

I would've put here another entry for "no YM's!"; if only the management doesn't use it to communicate. I'm seriously considering getting rid of it.

I GV'ed Last Sunday

Last Sunday at the church, I GV'ed. As in... totoong GV!

Gary V. came back to perform at our church at the 4:30pm service inspiring church-goers to believe in the Father, keep the faith going, and thank God for blessings.

Boy did he rock the house! Now I wish I had a digicam hehe. Here are some pics taken from the mosh pit. Yeah... I went all the way down from the balcony and joined the kids infront. With "Shout For Joy" and "Sa Yahweh", I can't resist the dance! :p

Something Good

A postscript from the last entry

I got confused as I was trying on the two pairs of jeans before I bought them yesterday. I had to have them exchanged for another size. I ended up buying them in a size an inch smaller than usual.

Now that's good news ;)

Afterwork Saturday

Another Saturday morning after work only means one thing-- Park!!! When the clock strikes 7am, the cast is off to the weekend market in Salcedo. Yesterday, it's me, Gian, Noel and Rui. Neil called in sick. And I miss Ron, who took a vacay with his family. But just the same, we weren't going to let the day pass without laugh trip. Gian laughed like there's no tomorrow... and for no reason at all. Ahahaha!!! Gian naman kasi! Konting galaw lang ni meam, halos lumabas na yung utak mo kakatawa eh. LOL!

After park, I had some retail therapy. I decided to enjoy my pay today, so I bought 6 DVD's to fill the weekend (hoping). I got myself two new blouses from Zara. Haai Zara. Then we hopped to Nike to look for Noel's singlet for his run. Haai Nike. Then we went to Aldo accessories next door where I just had to dance (haai shet) and Gian got a bit uncomfy haha! Sigh I wish we had more time to shop but Noel had to go to Rustan's to buy something. So we left Greenbelt 5 and walked to Rustan's. The walk was gruelling for Rui and Gian (death march?) while Noel and I enjoyed it haha. Ang tibay daw namin at mabilis kami maglakad. Haha!

As per Gian's blog, there's an oasis in Rustan's, where they were able to rest their tired feet. We enjoyed some snacks at the cafe-- Gian had Mango Tango, Rui had pumpkin soup and iced tea, and I had a soft baked cookie followed by clam chowder (yum!).

Rui: "(ordering) ako, pumpkin soup saka isang slice of.... extra rice hahahaha"
Gian: "HAHAHAHA!!!!"
Myls: "Hahaha! I think mas bagay yun dito sa cookie ko friend!"
Waiter: (umiiling, natatawa)
Gian: "HAHAHAHA!!!!"

After snacks, we walked all the way back to Greenbelt 5 and Noel drove us to our stops. I continued my retail therapy in Trinoma. Yes, buhay pa rin ako hehe. I got two new pairs of jeans, and some toiletries. After an hour, I went home. And as soon as I got home, I texted Jon saying I won't make it to the night out. Then I opened my laptop, checked my three essentials-- email, multiply and facebook. I took a shower and afterwards, started my DVD marathon. Yeah I dozed off in between haha.

Grabe sobrang GV pa rin yesterday! Wish I can put everything in this blog. For a while there I forgot my issues and I think it's good. I'm so blessed to have really good friends who make fun of me (haha!!), but genuinely care for me. And for that, I'm grateful and happy :)

Slow Day

Para maiba naman...

Isang bagot na bagot na Rui (a.k.a. Meam) ang nagyaya manood ng sine Sabadush pa lang. Ngunits! Nakauwi na kaming lahat sa kanya-kanyang valur, kaya nag-YM conference na lang kami at pinagkwentuhan ang mga naganap nung nasa park kami nung umaga. Natuloy din naman ang sine kahapon ng gabi. Nanood kaming dalawa ni Meam ng Watchmen... haaay, inantok ako. Maraming eksenang kalokohan at hindi na kailangan sa pelikula.

Pagkatapos manood ng sine ay gumow kami sa CBTL para makipagkita kay B'ley. At nung magkakasama na kaming tatlo, umingay ang CBTL (aba natural). Tumodo kami sa chika dahil mashogal na naming hindi nakikita si B'ley. Kwento tungkol sa mga buhay-buhay, tungkol sa mga barkada, tungkol sa mga bakasyon, at kung ano-ano parn. Isa-isang nag-aalisan ang mga tao dahil maingay kami. Kebs!

Napansin naming kaming tatlo na lang ang natitira sa kapihan. At biglang tingin sa relo si Meam.

Rui: "Ay friend... 12:45 na pala!"
B'ley: "Hahahaha!!!! 12:45 na???? Akala ko 11 pa lang. Kaya pala wala nang tao... sabi ko, 'ah baka slow day lang'."
Myls: "Hahahahaha! Matumal!"
Rui: "Hahahaha si bakla... dapat yan ang title ng next blog mo! 'Slow Day'."

Haha shonalow! Sinara namin ang kapihan at nagsi-uwi.
